Article Processing Charge

The  Journal of the English Literator Society (ISSN 2455-393X) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to offset expenses associated with the publication of accepted works. This expense supports the sustainability of our open-access model, which provides unrestricted access to high-quality research worldwide without restrictions.

APC Structure

The APC is non-refundable and varies according to the number of authors. It is payable immediately upon acceptance, before final publication. [This APC is applicable for articles with a max word limit of 4000 words; articles above this word limit may be charged extra.]

Payment Guidelines

  • Payments accepted in: Indian Rupee (INR) and/or US Dollar (USD).
  • Payment Options:

o Bank Transfer (Within India)

o UPI/Credit Card (RuPay exclusive to Indian transactions)

o PayPal (International authors only)

  • Deadline: Payment is due after acceptance but before publication.

Waivers & Discounts

At present, we cannot provide any waivers or discounts for publication.

APC Coverage

The charge covers critical publishing services, such as:

  • Editorial Processes: Management of peer review, copyediting, and other quality assurance operations.
  • Production: Typesetting, formatting, and PDF conversion.
  • Dissemination: Hosting, indexing, and long-term digital preservation.

Publication Certificate (Optional)

  • Should you need a publication certificate, the additional certificate fee, as indicated below, costs extra:
  • Publication certificate fee: INR 150 / USD 5 per author (Digital Certificate sent via email)

Refund Policy

  • Withdrawals after acceptance or retractions owing to ethical misconduct will not warrant a refund of any kind.
  • Authors take full responsibility for compliance with submission guidelines; failure shall not result in reimbursement.
